Project Coordinator

Job Summary: This position is located at Cape Cod SFS, MA. The Project Coordinator will report directly to the Civil Engineering (CE) Manager. Will assist the CE Manager with major and minor construction project management. Will update as-built drawings for all upgrades, modernizations and facility projects incorporating redlined drawings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepares project proposals, including cost estimates, documentation, subcontractor management/scheduling and closeout requirements
  • Reviews, updates and modifies facility drawings using AutoCAD; organizes drawing databases, including red-line and as-built drawings, warranties and equipment specifications
  • Provides engineering review and feedback on government projects and proposals
  • Manages, oversees, and provides accountability for installation's real property
  • Assists with the coordination of construction activities and requirements for other contracts
  • Reviews project support agreements (PSAs) for construction, renovation and new upgrades. Facilitates work requests and coordinates work impacts and scheduling with outside contractors.
  • Assists the Emergency Management team with disaster response/crisis management activities, preparedness, training, and helps prepare emergency plans and procedures.
  • Adheres to the Performance Work Statement (PWS)
  • Performs other duties as required not limited to general housekeeping, safety and environmental practices, requisition parts, maintain data/logs/files, comply with security policies, complete ancillary training and participate in exercises

Educational/Training Requirements:

  • Engineering, drafting, technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in AutoCAD

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbally

Clearance Requirements:

  • Currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain the proper US DoD issued security clearance, which requires US Citizenship. Security clearance eligibility may be discussed during the interview phase.
  • Employment and start date is contingent upon the candidate receiving the required US DoD issued interim security clearance.
