Financial Analyst

Job Summary

This position will perform financial reporting and analysis for the companies handled in the Service Center - InDyne and Reliance Test & Technologies. This position will support multiple contracts and will provide support to the Sr. Financial Analyst/Billing Supervisor and Finance Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Candidate will prepare and review monthly financial reports and send to Project/Program Managers. Assist in development of CDRLs (Contract Deliverables) for Finance. Run reports from CER (Costpoint Enterprise Reporting) and Costpoint Accounting software. Possess analytical skills, effectively handle multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
  • At hoc financial reports when requested by InDyne Finance and Program/Project Managers.
  • Backup duties for Billing Analyst to include preparation and submittal of complex invoices for government and non-government contracts and reconciliations.
  • Responsibilities include advanced skill set of Excel required inclusive of pivot creation and functionality.
  • Assist with invoicing on the ARTSS contract to include complex reports.
  • Candidate should have proficient knowledge of Costpoint. Also requires experience with CER or Cognos report writer.
  • Requires strong organizational and time management skills. Communicate with co-workers, management, and others in a professional manner.
  • Requires experience with reconciliations.

Educational/Training Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
  • Experience with Costpoint and CER or Cognos required.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Advanced skill set for Excel required inclusive of pivot creation and functionality. Proficient detailed knowledge of government funding with experience and understanding of Costpoint and CER.
  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.

  • Primarily office environment/setting
